Greetings, fellow humans! This month, I have mostly been finishing off my Mekboy Workshop.
The main body of the Mekboy Workshop was a lot more Ryza Ruin than the Ork scrap piles/barricades, so in hindsight it might have been a bit quicker had I undercoated things in green instead of black. I’ll probably do that for any future Ryza Ruins that I paint, as they won’t be as detailed (although I’ll still slap on plenty of looted Orky bits to mark my territory). It’s a fantastic terrain piece, and the scrap piles and barricades that come with it make for an excellent junkyard scene that wouldn’t look out of place in Necromunda or Kill Team.
On an AoS note, I’ll be picking up my copy of Dominion at the weekend, so I’ll be giving the new background a good looking over ready for when we get back into AoS. I might also build and paint up a few of the new Kruleboyz models just to test out a colour scheme for them. Hopefully they’ll fit in nicely with my Ironjawz and classic metal Orc models (which I might now count as something else depending on what new hero options the full Kruleboyz faction offers).
If you’re joining in with White Dwarf’s 2021 Hobby Bingo (#WhiteDwarf, #PaintingWarhammer, #WarhammerCommunity), here’s how I’ve fared this month:
0 I should have saved some of my earlier models for ‘quieter’ months like this one, but never mind!
