Greetings, fellow humans! This month, I have mostly been painting Ardboys.
These ten are the last of my Ironjawz Ardboys, so that’s a full mob of thirty that I’ve got now. Although, with the changes the unit sizes in 3rd edition AoS I’ll now have to split them into two smaller mobs of fifteen. As a result, I also painted up a metal Black Orc Big Boss so that each mob can have its own champion model (front right, with the shield). All the better for issuing commands with!
I also grabbed a picture of the lot of them together, along with the milkshake that brought them there. Such is the way of things. Whilst taking this picture, I also realised that I can conveniently split my units into one armed with Choppas and Smashas, and one armed with Big Choppas plus the command models. That’ll allow me to easily tell them apart if they ever get stuck in close together. Very kunnin’.
All that I’ve currently got left to build and paint now for my Ironjawz are half a dozen Gore-gruntas and a Megaboss on Maw-Krusha. In terms of Orruk Warclans as a whole, I’ve also got nearly all of the Dominion box still to paint as well. If I’m lucky I might get some of them finished off later on in the year, but my focus for the foreseeable future will be firmly on all of the lovely new Kill Team terrain…
